Public Transport
The band room is accessible by two forms of public transport.
Metro
The Northumberland Park metro station is located on the A186, 400 yards from the band room. Exit the station, turn left, past Sainsburys, left at the roundabout and the band room is on your left after the railway bridge.
The metro operates in many places around Newcastle, North Tyneside, Gateshead and Sunderland.
Bus
The 356 bus runs from Newcastle (Haymarket) to North Shields, via Gosforth, Longbenton, Killingworth, Backworth and Shiremoor. The 1840 bus from Haymarket or 1856 from North Shields will get you to band in time to put up your stand. A full timetable for the 356 bus is here. There are bus stops on Station Road, slightly north of the band room.
